Light Holding What Breaks
There is no morning that does not feel like a shattering when the bed beside you is empty. You carry the weight of a loss that has no place to go, and the first light of day only makes the absence feel more real.
Yet the one who knows grief remembers that the kingdom is not a place you travel to, but a presence that remains within you even when the world feels hollow. That light was inside your child before the breath left, and it is inside you now, holding what breaks.
Do not try to fix the morning; just let the light that could not be extinguished hold the space where they used to be. You are still the one who receives, even in the breaking.
