retiring and not knowing who you are without work
There is a quiet panic that comes when the work stops, when the title no longer fits, and the mirror shows a stranger staring back. You wonder if the one you became is the only thing that ever existed.
But the Father does not love you for what you have built; He loves you for who you are. Grace is abundant, pressed down and running over, waiting for you to stop earning and simply receive.
You thought you had to wear the armor to be worthy, but the light inside you was there before the first morning, and it is still there now, unblemished and free. You are not a job title; you are the light itself, resting in the fullness of the Father.
