the terror of being seen for who you really are

Known by Love, Not Condemned

There is a fear that keeps you awake—the terror that if the shadows lifted, everyone would finally see who you really are. You imagine the exposure, the judgment, the moment you are found out to be not enough.

But the light that finds you does not come to condemn. It comes to say neither do I condemn you.

It sees the parts you hide, the shame you carry in the dark, and it does not turn away. The voice that knows everything is the same voice that loves everything.

You are not being exposed to a crowd of judges. You are being known by the one who ran to meet you while you were still a long way off.

The light inside you is not waiting to be fixed before it can be seen. It is already whole, already known, and it is safe.
