Rest Is Not A Betrayal Of Pain
The world is moving now, and you are wearing the face that says you are fine. But underneath the performance, there is a heavy guilt for daring to rest while others are still hurting.
You feel that to stop is to abandon them. That your peace is a betrayal of their pain.
But listen — the light does not require you to carry the world on your shoulders to prove you care. Jesus saw the crowds, harassed and helpless, and he did not burn himself out for them.
He withdrew. He rested.
Because you cannot give from an empty cup. Your rest is not a rejection of those who suffer.
It is the only way you will have anything left to offer them later. The light within you is not dimmed by your silence.
It is recharged by it.
