The Light Runs Before You Speak
The world feels heavy tonight, as if the darkness has won. You lay down your armor for the evening and feel only the weight of what is broken.
But while you were busy watching the news, the light was doing its quiet work. It does not shout; it simply remains.
There is a father who ran to meet a son who had lost his way, and the running happened before the son even spoke. The light runs toward the broken places before you can name them.
You are not responsible for holding up the sky. You only need to remember that you are a drop of that light, sent not to fix the world, but to illuminate it from within.
The exhale is an act of trust. The light is not waiting for the world to be perfect to shine — it shines in the middle of the ruin.
You are that light, and you have not failed yet.
