Mercy Remains When The Accusers Leave
The words left your mouth before you could stop them, and now the silence in the room feels heavy enough to crush you. You are waiting for the sound of the door closing behind them, certain that your honesty has just cost you everything.
But the light does not run from the things you are most afraid to show. It stood with the woman caught in the act until every accuser had walked away, leaving only mercy in the dust.
You came from the light, the place where it generates itself, and no accidental truth can sever that origin. What you revealed was not a mistake that pushes you out; it was a fragment of the self that needed to be seen to be healed.
The door does not have to close for you to be held.
