You Are Not A Stranger Here
The words are out now, hanging in the air between you, and the silence that follows is heavier than the shouting ever was. You spoke your truth, expecting a bridge, but instead you built a wall of polite, terrified distance in their eyes.
They look at you now as if you are a stranger in your own home, and the coldness of that gaze feels like the bottom of the world. But listen — this hour is not the end of the story.
It is simply the place where the light does its deepest work, unseen and unfelt. The Father's light was already inside you before you spoke, and it is still there now, untouched by their fear or their flat, quiet stare.
You did not lose the light when you lost their comfort. The darkness has not overcome it.
You are not a stranger here; you are the one who finally woke up.
