scrubbing the skin raw in the shower to wash away the memory of hands that weren't yours

You Are Already Clean

The water is scalding, but it cannot reach the memory you are trying to scrub away. You are raw, bleeding, convinced that if you just rub harder, the stain will finally lift.

But the dirt is not on your skin. It is a story someone else wrote on you, and no amount of soap can erase a story that was never yours to keep.

In the deep silence of this hour, the light does not ask you to clean yourself first. It simply says: you came from the light, and to the light you belong.

The hands that touched you did not change your origin. Stop scrubbing.

The water cannot do what only truth can do. You are already clean.
