The Light Needs No Audience
The victory is small, but it is real. You reached for the phone to tell someone who understood the weight of it, only to remember the number no longer connects.
The silence that follows is heavy. It feels like the light has dimmed because there is no one left to see it shine.
But the light does not depend on an audience to be real. You came from the light, the place where it generates itself.
It was there before the applause, and it remains now that the room is empty. The victory matters because you achieved it, not because it was witnessed.
The light within you is sufficient, even in the quiet.
