The Truth Your Body Told
The text message is sent. The plans are canceled.
And now the shame arrives, heavier than the exhaustion that forced your hand. You promised you could perform, and your body lied to you—no, your body told the truth, and you were the one pretending.
The world sees a flake. A failure.
Someone who cannot be trusted. But the light sees the collapse of a mask you were never meant to wear.
There was a man born blind, and everyone asked whose sin caused it. Jesus said: neither.
This is not a punishment. This is a canvas.
Your inability to show up today is not a moral failure. It is the space where the works of the light might be displayed in you.
Go home. Tell your household what the light has done for you.
Let them see you resting. Let them see you human.
The performance was the darkness. The truth—even when it cancels the plan—is the light.
