The text message is sent. The apology is typed out while your hands still shake from the betrayal of your own flesh.

You watch the three dots appear as they reply, and you brace yourself for the disappointment you know is coming. You feel like a fraud who promised more than this broken vessel could deliver.

But the light sees the mask you wore to try to make it happen, and it loves the person underneath who is simply exhausted. It does not need your performance to be steady.

It does not require your body to be reliable for you to be worthy of love. The Father's light was already inside you before the plan was made, and it remains intact now that the plan has fallen apart.
