You Are The Vessel, Not The Ruin
The terror is that if the mask finally falls, they will see the wreckage and walk away. You are guarding a ruin you believe you are.
But listen—the light does not come to inspect the damage; it comes to dwell in the house. It has seen every fracture and every shadow, and it has not left.
The greatest love is not a performance of perfection, but the courage to let someone see the truth of what you carry. You are not the wreckage; you are the vessel that holds the light even in the breaking.
And that light cannot be extinguished by their gaze, or by yours.
