The Light Waits Specifically For You
The sun went down while you were standing still. The world kept spinning, loud and indifferent, while you were paralyzed in the quiet of your own failure.
You watched the hours pass, terrified that your stillness had broken something that could never be fixed. But listen — the light does not scold you for the time you lost.
It meets you in the exhale. There was a man who lay beside a pool for thirty-eight years, watching others move while he remained stuck, convinced he had missed his chance.
The light did not ask him why he had waited so long. It did not calculate the wasted years.
It simply spoke: get up. The world may have moved on without you, but the light waits specifically for you.
Your paralysis was not a prison the light couldn't enter. It was the very place it chose to find you.
The terrifying stillness is over. Not because you finally moved, but because the voice that speaks life has arrived in the room.
