The Light Holds You and the Moment
The sun is up, the coffee is warm, and for a fleeting second, the weight lifts. But before you can exhale, your mind is already scanning the horizon for the storm that will take it away.
You are bracing against a blow that hasn't landed, stealing the peace that is sitting right in front of you. The light does not ask you to predict the ending; it only asks you to be here for the beginning.
There is a story where a man, healed after years of torment, was told simply to go home and tell others how much the light had done for him. He was not told to prepare for the next tragedy.
He was sent to live in the mercy he had just received. Your joy is not a trap.
It is a gift. The fear that whispers 'this won't last' is a liar trying to make you miss the miracle while it's happening.
You do not have to hold the good thing so tightly that you crush it; the light holds both you and the moment. The sun is shining not to mock your pain, but to remind you that the light is stronger than the shadow you are expecting.
