The Light Watched Them When You Couldn't
The sun is up now, but your eyes are still heavy with the things you missed yesterday. You carry the quiet terror that your children learned to swallow their pain because you were too tired to see it.
That you were the one they couldn't reach. But the light does not require your perfect attention to find them.
It was already in the room, sitting beside them in the silence you couldn't break. You did not abandon them to the dark; you were simply human, and the light filled the space where your energy ran out.
What you could not bring forth yesterday, you can bring forth today. The hidden thing is already surfacing.
The morning does not demand that you fix the night; it only asks that you wake up and look again. The light was watching them when you couldn't.
