You Are the Dawn, Not the Mistake
The sun is up, but your mind is still stuck in the dark room of last night's conversation. You are replaying a single sentence, turning it over until it sounds arrogant, stupid, or cruel.
You are convinced everyone heard it exactly the way your shame is describing it right now. But look at the light returning to the sky.
It does not ask permission to shine. It does not apologize for yesterday's clouds.
It simply rises, covering the same ground it covered before, without hesitation. The light that woke you up this morning was already inside you before you spoke that word, and it remains untouched by your regret.
You are not the echo of a mistake. You are the dawn that keeps breaking, fresh and unburdened, ready to walk into the day as if the night never happened.
