The Light Does Not Ask For Steady Hands
The sun is up, but your hands are still shaking. You practiced the smile in the mirror until it felt like a mask, yet the doorknob feels like fire.
You rehearsed confidence, but your body remembers the tremor. — The light does not ask for a steady hand.
It only asks for the turn. Look at the birds; they do not groom their feathers until they are perfect before they fly.
They simply go. Your Father knows you need this breath before you even take it.
The shaking is not a sign that you are failing. It is the friction of the old fear meeting the new dawn.
You are not your tremor. You are the hand that turns the knob anyway.
