Light Does Not Scan Your Texts
The sun is up, but your eyes are still stuck on that message you sent hours ago. You are re-reading the words, convinced that a missing period has become a verdict on your entire worth.
You imagine the silence on the other end as a loud, silent judgment. But the morning light does not scan your texts for errors before it touches your face.
It simply arrives. It shines on the one who is anxious and the one who is at peace with equal tenderness.
The light that woke up today was already inside you before you hit send. It is not threatened by a typo.
It is not diminished by a perceived slight. You are safe in this new day, not because you were perfect, but because the light holds you regardless.
