You Are the Reason the Dawn Rose
The sun is up, but you are still carrying the heavy silence of last night. You convinced yourself that your pain was too much for anyone to hold.
That your need for comfort was a weight no one should have to carry. So you packed it away, deep inside, and told yourself you were being strong.
But the light does not measure your worth by how little you ask for. Look at the birds.
They do not calculate their hunger before they sing. They simply open their beaks, and they are fed.
Your Father knows you need more than they do. You are not a burden to the dawn.
You are the reason it rose. The light was already inside you before you spoke a word.
