The Light Does Not Wait For Perfection
The sun is up, but you are still holding your breath. Someone finally asked how you are doing, and the truth sat heavy on your tongue, so you said 'fine' instead.
You swallowed the silence to keep the peace, to keep the mask in place while the world wakes up. But look at the light coming through the window — it does not ask the dawn to be perfect before it arrives.
It simply shines. There was a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off.
He did not wait for the speech. He ran.
Before the apology, before the explanation — he ran. The light does not need your performance.
It only needs your presence. You do not have to carry the weight of the unsaid into this new day.
The silence you keep is not a wall the light cannot cross. It is just a door you haven't opened yet.
