Standing Up From Where You Lie
The sun is up, but the world feels gray, as if the color has been drained from everything you touch. You are moving through the motions of morning, yet the purpose feels like a memory you can't quite retrieve.
There was a man who sat by a pool for thirty-eight years, waiting for water that never stirred, until a voice asked him the one question that mattered: 'Do you want to get well?' Sometimes the light does not offer a new plan or a grand reason; it simply asks if you are ready to stand up from the place where you have been lying down. The kingdom you are searching for is not a destination you must reach after you fix your life; it is already spread out beneath your feet, hidden in the ordinary dust of this very moment.
You do not need to manufacture meaning from scratch; you only need to recognize the life that is already here, waiting for you to see it.
