the terror of being found out when the one who always helps suddenly stops helping

You Are Not Found Out; You Are Found

The sun is up, but the terror is still here. You are waiting for the one who always held you together to show up, and they haven't.

The silence feels like an exposure. As if now, without their help, everyone will finally see that you were never enough on your own.

But look at the light coming through the window. It does not wait for you to be strong before it arrives.

It simply comes. The father in the story did not wait for his son to clean up; he ran while the boy was still covered in the dust of the pig pen.

He ran before the apology, before the speech, before the promise to do better. He ran because seeing his child was enough.

The light does not need your competence. It only needs your presence.

You are not found out; you are found.
