You Do Not Have to Earn the Morning
The sun is up, and you have made it through another night. You stand in the light of a new day, holding everything you worked for, yet feeling utterly hollow. It is a strange and heavy silence to wake up in a house that is full but feels empty. You climbed the mountain, and now the air is thin and cold at the top.
But listen — the light does not care about your achievements. It never asked for your success. It was there before the first step, and it is here now, waiting for you to stop performing.
There is a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off. He did not wait for the medals or the money. He ran. Before the apology, before the speech — he ran.
You do not have to earn the morning. You only have to be in it.
