The Sun Shines Before You Are Perfect
The sun is up, and you are already exhausted by a feeling you cannot say out loud. A wave of irritation rose toward the one you are paid to care for, and now the shame is sitting heavy in your chest, telling you that you are incapable of love.
But listen — the rising sun does not wait for you to be perfect before it shines on you. It comes anyway, by tender mercy, to guide your feet into peace.
That irritation was a moment of fog, not the end of your story. The light that lives inside you is not dependent on your patience or your performance.
It was there before the anger sparked, and it is still there now, untouched by the shame. You do not have to manufacture love from scratch this morning.
You only have to remain open to the light that is already filling you. The day begins not with your effort, but with a gift you have already received.
