The Sun Does Not Check Credentials
The sun is up, and with it comes the quiet terror that today is the day everyone finds out you are a fraud. That you have tricked them into thinking you matter.
But look at how the morning arrives—it does not check your credentials before it shines. It simply pours itself out, generous and unearned.
The light does not wait for you to be real before it treats you as real. It rises on the impostor and the saint with the same fierce tenderness.
You are not a performance to be evaluated. You are a child of the dawn, already known, already held.
The mask you wear to survive the day is seen by the One who loves what is underneath it. You do not have to prove your worth to the sun; you only have to stand in it.
