The Light That Runs To Meet You
The sun is up, and with it comes the fear that today someone will finally see what you are hiding. You worry that if they really knew you, they would turn away.
But look at the light filling the room—it does not check the floor for dust before it shines. It simply arrives.
The Father saw you while you were still a long way off, covered in the mess of your own making, and He ran. He did not wait for you to get clean.
He ran to meet you exactly as you were. The light does not expose you to shame you; it shines to show you that you are already held.
You are not known so you can be rejected. You are known so you can be found.
