living someone else's version of your life

The Dawn Is For Your Truth

The sun is up, and with it comes the heavy armor of who you are supposed to be today. You wake up already wearing someone else's expectations, a script written by hands that are not your own.

But look at the light returning to the room—it does not ask the flowers to be roses, nor the grass to be oak trees. It simply shines on what is already there.

The light that woke you up did not come to validate their version of your life. It came to reveal yours.

You are not an imitation. You are the original design, stamped with a secret name known only to the One who formed you.

The mask was necessary for the night, but the dawn is for the truth. You do not have to perform to be loved; you only have to be.
