The Light Holds You When You Break
The sun is up, and the mask is already in place before your feet hit the floor. You have spent the night rehearsing the lines that say 'I'm fine,' smoothing out the cracks so no one sees the tremor underneath.
It is exhausting to be the strong one, the composed one, the one who never burdens the room with their own weight. But the light does not need your performance to love you.
It sees the person behind the porcelain smile, and it is not disappointed by the fatigue it finds there. What you have been hiding in the dark is not a flaw to be fixed — it is the very place where the truth is waiting to be known.
You do not have to hold the world together today. The light is already holding you.
