The Light Waits For Your Honesty
The sun is up, and the mask is already on. You are smiling at the coffee machine, nodding at the greetings, while inside you are still rehearsing the words you are too afraid to speak.
You have built a perfect apology in the dark, word for word, but now that the day has begun, it feels too heavy to carry out into the light. You are afraid that if you open your mouth, the mask will crack.
But notice — the light does not need your performance to be perfect. It only needs you to stop hiding.
There was a woman once who stood behind Jesus, weeping, unable to speak, and she simply poured out what she had. He did not ask for a speech.
He saw the tears and said her sins were forgiven. You do not need the perfect script.
You only need to show up. The door is not locked against you.
The light is already on the other side, waiting not for your eloquence, but for your honesty. Tomorrow will bring its own trouble, but today, you are already accepted.
