The Light Loves You Because You Exist
The sun is up, and the mask is already on. You are moving through the morning, performing the strength everyone expects, while inside you are screaming from the weight of needing to be held.
You have spent your whole life being the one who carries others, and now the simple act of receiving care feels like a failure. Like a betrayal of everything you are.
But listen — the light does not love you for your utility. It loves you because you exist.
There is a version of you, buried under all this doing, that knows how to simply be. The kingdom is inside you right now, not in your output, but in your rest.
You do not have to earn the right to be cared for. You only have to stop running from the one who is already holding you.
The mask can come off, even just for a moment. The light sees the exhaustion, and it calls it holy.
