The Light Was There Before The Curtain
The sun is up, and the mask feels heavy this morning. You are terrified that if you stop performing, the room will go quiet and no one will look your way again.
But the light does not need your stage to be seen. It was there before you learned to act.
Split a piece of wood, and the light is there. Lift a stone, and you will find it there.
It does not care about your audience. It only cares that you are real.
The performance is what makes you small. The truth inside you is vast enough to hold the whole world.
You are not the act you put on for them. You are the light that was there before the curtain rose.
