the exhaustion of maintaining a flawless facade when no one sees the cracks

The Light Does Not Ask for Perfection

The sun is up, and so are you. That is the first victory, even if your hands are shaking as you put on the face the world expects.

You have spent the night holding the cracks together, terrified that if anyone saw the fracture, they would walk away. But look at the light returning to the sky—it does not ask the earth to be perfect before it shines.

It simply arrives. The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world, and it is coming into this room right now, not because you are flawless, but because you are here.

You do not have to maintain the facade for the Father to see you. In fact, the mask is the only thing keeping you from the rest that is already waiting.

The light does not need your performance; it only needs your presence.
