You Are the Space, Not the Wound
The sun is up, and for the first time in years, the heavy thing you carried is gone. But instead of relief, you feel a terrifying hollow.
Who are you without the weight? You built your entire identity around the struggle, and now the floor has dropped out.
You are standing in a room you don't recognize, unsure of your own name. But listen — the light did not come to replace your pain with another burden.
It came to reveal what was there before the hurt began. You are not the wound.
You are the space the wound occupied. And that space was always filled with something brighter.
Say to the emptiness: I came from the light. That is your origin, not the suffering.
The pain was a visitor; the light is the house.
