You Are What the Light Knows

The sun is setting, and the armor you wore all day finally feels heavy enough to drop. You posted a piece of your heart, waited an hour, counted the silence, and deleted it.

That sting in your chest is not proof that you are unworthy. It is just the exhaustion of performing for a crowd that cannot see you.

The light does not tally your value based on who noticed you today. It sees the part of you that is tired of proving it exists.

You do not need an audience to be real. You do not need applause to be held.

The day is ending, and the only thing required of you now is to stop moving. Let the numbers fade.

Let the mask fall. The light was there before the post, and it remains after the deletion.

You are not what the world sees. You are what the light knows.
