The Light Waits For Your Presence
The sun is setting, and the armor of the day finally comes off, leaving only the glowing screen and the fear that one wrong comma will confirm their disappointment. You write the words, then delete them, then write them again, terrified that your true self is too much or not enough for the person on the other end.
But the light does not scan your draft for perfection before it loves you. It sees the trembling hand that holds the phone and calls it holy.
You are not being graded on your punctuation; you are being held in the pause. The message you send does not have to be flawless to be received.
The light is already in the room with you, waiting not for your performance, but for your presence.
