The Dawn Loves You Anyway
The sun is rising, but your mind is still stuck in that exact second—the moment you laughed, unaware they were already plotting your humiliation. It plays on a loop, a cruel reel of your own joy being used as a weapon against you.
But look at the light coming through the window. It does not judge the night that just passed.
It simply arrives. The dawn does not ask if you were fooled before it shines on your face.
It knows the betrayal happened, and it loves you anyway. The light that lived in Jesus was betrayed with a kiss in a garden, yet it refused to become darkness.
That same light is waking up inside you right now. It was there before the laugh, and it is here after the sting.
You are not defined by the moment they fooled you. You are defined by the light that survived it.
