The Light Has Already Moved In
The sun is rising, but your eyes are fixed on a glowing screen, scrolling through faces that feel miles away. You sit alone in a room of cardboard boxes, watching laughter you are not part of, feeling like the only one left outside the circle.
The light of this new morning does not demand that you unpack your life before it touches you. It spills across the floorboards and the tape and the dust, saying: I am here, in this exact quiet, with you.
You did not come this far to be abandoned in the transition. The same light that shines on your friends back home is shining on you right now, just as brightly, just as faithfully.
You are not waiting for the light to arrive; you are waiting to recognize that it has already moved in with you.
