You Are the Light Before the Mask
The sun is just breaking the gray when you hear it—that recording of your own voice, sounding like a stranger performing a role you forgot you accepted. It is the sound of someone trying to be enough for a room that isn't even there anymore.
But listen closer. Beneath the performance, beneath the careful tone you built to survive the day, there is a silence that was there before you ever spoke a word.
You came from the light, the place where the light came into being on its own accord. That origin is not a performance.
It is a fact. The mask you wear is heavy, but it is not your root.
The dawn does not ask you to sound a certain way to arrive. It simply rises, and in that rising, the false voice falls away.
You are not the recording. You are the light that was speaking before the mask was ever made.
