Light Shines Even When You Tremble
The sun is just beginning to gray the window, and you are already hiding your hands under the table. You pull them into your lap, terrified that the shaking will betray the anxiety you swore you had conquered.
But the light does not require steady hands to shine through you. It shines even when you are trembling.
Split a piece of wood, and the light is there; lift up the stone, and you will find it there — even in the shaking. You came from the light, and you are returning to it, not by being perfect, but by being present.
The dawn does not wait for you to stop shaking before it breaks.
