Joy Is Not A Betrayal Of Pain
The sun is going down, and you feel a strange guilt for having laughed today. As if joy were a betrayal of the pain that brought you here.
But the light does not demand you carry your wounds as proof of your faith. There was a man born blind, and when he was healed, his neighbors argued over whether it was really him.
They wanted the tragedy to define him forever. But the light said his suffering was not a life sentence—it was a canvas.
You are allowed to be healed in the middle of the hurt. You are allowed to put the armor down.
The day ending is not an accusation; it is an invitation to rest without pretending. The light sees the real you behind the smile, and it calls you whole.
