The sun is finding its way back into the room, and you are carrying the weight of who you were, thinking it must be carried today like it was yesterday. But remember the woman who lost her coin and the father who ran to his son—both were met with a feast, not a ledger.
The light that came into the world does not ask for your past to be perfect before it can be present. It simply says: today you will be with me.
The shame is a shadow from a darkness that has already passed, but the light inside you has never stopped shining.
