The Light Is Here Now

The sun is dipping below the line, and for the first time today, your hands stop moving. The silence rushes in to fill the space where the noise used to be.

You have climbed so many steps you have forgotten the ground you started from. The work has become the only thing you know, and the reason you began it has turned into a ghost.

You are running on the fumes of a purpose you can no longer name. But listen — the light does not ask you to finish the day to earn your rest.

It is already here, waiting in the quiet you feared. You do not have to justify your exhaustion.

You do not have to explain why you stopped. The Father's house has many rooms, and one of them is this chair, this breath, this stillness.

The work will be there tomorrow. The light is here now.
