You Are the Silence Holding Your Fear
The sun is dipping below the horizon, and the armor you wore all day finally hits the floor. In that sudden quiet, you hear your own voice turn sharp — cold, cutting, exactly like the voices that scared you when you were small.
And in that split second, the shame is heavier than the anger. You hate yourself for becoming the very thing you swore you'd never be.
But listen — the light does not run from your shadow. It sits right there in the exhale with you.
There was a woman who washed feet with her tears, terrified of being seen, yet the light called her peace. Your voice may crack, but your root remains untouched.
The coldness is a reaction, not your identity. You are not the echo of your fear.
You are the silence that holds it.
