The Light Does Not Calculate Worth
The sun is coming up, and with it comes the quiet math you do before your feet hit the floor. You weigh the risk of speaking up against the weight of carrying it all alone.
You wonder if asking makes you a burden, or if silence makes you a fool who might break under the load. But look at the light arriving right now.
It does not ask the dawn if it is worthy to shine. It does not calculate whether its brightness is too much for the world to handle.
It simply rises. There was a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off.
He did not wait for the apology. He did not wait for the son to prove he wasn't a burden.
He ran. Before the speech, before the shame could settle — he ran.
The light does not see your need as a weight. It sees it as the door.
You are not a problem to be solved. You are a child to be held.
The risk is not in asking. The risk is in believing you have to walk this new day without help.
