Dawn Does Not Ask You to Fix Yesterday
The sun is coming up, and the night is finally releasing its grip on the room. You made it through the hours where that single moment played on a loop—the exact second their eyes widened in fear, the freeze-frame that convinced you trust was permanently shattered.
But look at the light returning to the sky. It does not hesitate to shine on the place where you fell.
It rises anyway, gentle and unhurried, proving that the story did not end in that second of terror. The dawn is not asking you to fix what happened before breakfast.
It is simply showing you that the darkness, no matter how heavy it felt, could not stop the morning from arriving. There is a mercy in this new hour that is bigger than your mistake, a tenderness that meets you right here in the wreckage of your regret.
You are not defined by the fear you saw in their eyes, but by the light that is willing to walk with you through the aftermath. The day has begun, and the light is already inside you, waiting to be trusted again.
