The Dawn Is Not A Demand
The sun is coming up, and the house is quiet except for that sound again. You feel a sharp, secret shame rise in your chest because you resent the cry, because it means you must stand up one more time when you have nothing left to give.
But listen — the rising sun does not ask you to be perfect, only present. There is a tender mercy that comes to you right now, not to judge your exhaustion, but to guide your feet into the path of peace.
The light has already arrived in this room, shining on you while you are still sitting in the dark of your own frustration. You do not have to manufacture love this morning; you only have to receive the light that is already here.
The dawn is not a demand; it is an arrival.
