The Light That Holds You Still
The sun has gone down, and with it, the noise that kept you busy enough to forget your own fragility. Now the quiet returns, and with it, a familiar fear: that you will spoil this peace, that you will turn away from the light you just found.
You are bracing for the betrayal you expect from yourself. But listen — the light does not depend on your ability to hold it perfectly.
It depends on its ability to hold you. There is a peace that is not fragile, not earned, and not lost by your stumbling.
The Father's house has many rooms, and one of them is reserved for the part of you that is afraid of failing. You do not have to guarantee your own faithfulness tonight.
The one who loves you has already guaranteed his. The darkness is gathering, but it cannot touch the love that holds you still.
