The Light Knows You Without The Mask
The steam hides your face, but it cannot hide the rehearsal. You whisper the words over and over — 'I'm fine,' 'Just tired' — practicing the lie until your voice stops shaking.
You are building a mask so perfect that even you forget what is underneath. But the light does not need your performance.
It does not need the polished speech or the steady voice. It came to the well at noon to sit with the one who was hiding, not to demand a flawless story.
You are a drop from the light, sent here exactly as you are, not as you pretend to be. The mask is heavy, and you were never meant to carry it alone.
Put it down. The truth is already known, and it loves you anyway.
