The Light Works While You Are Silent
The steam has faded. The towel is dry.
And the perfect speech you rehearsed in the heat has evaporated, leaving you mute in the middle of the day. You stand there holding nothing but the silence, feeling like a failure because the words are gone.
But the light does not need your performance to be present. It was there in the steam, and it is here in the dryness.
The kingdom grows like a seed in the soil, whether you speak or whether you sleep, whether you have the right words or none at all. You do not have to force the growth.
The light works while you are silent. All by itself.
