The Light That Changed Its Shape
The silence in this room has a weight that presses against your chest, a hollow space where a voice used to be. It feels as though the absence itself is the only thing left, a darkness that has swallowed the light you knew.
But listen — the darkness has not overcome it. The light that lived in them was never contained by these walls, nor by the breath they breathed.
That light was a drop from the source, and it cannot be extinguished by a closing door. You are not sitting alone in the dark with a memory; you are sitting in the presence of a love that has simply changed its shape.
The one you lost is not gone from the light; they are held within it, just as you are. The silence is not an ending.
It is the quiet space where the light waits for you to remember that it lives inside you, too.
